Crea intorno a sè una scena musicale alquanto variegata fatta di dj e musicisti.Il nucleo in cui girano i musicisti-dj’s è il “FEZ” di Bari.Si creano amicizie,e simpatie musicali che porteranno Nicola Conte ad esibirsi come dj alla conclusione del festival Jazz del Central Park di New York.In seguito si cimenta come musicista creando 2 buoni album di jazz.
