On the 30th of October Sine Music will publish Polished Chrome’s debut album entitled ‘First Experience’. Nouvelle Vague è un progetto musicale francese di Marc Collin e Olivier Libaux che si propone di riprendere alcuni classici della new wave e del punk anni 80 e reintepretarli in stile bossanova. Il nome del progetto è un gioco di parole che indica in primo luogo la nazionalità del gruppo, facendo riferimento al celebre movimento del cinema francese dagli anni '60 (la Nouvelle Vague appunto); in secondo luogo Nouvelle Vague è la traduzione francese dell'inglese new wave e allude alla bossa nova. I Thievery Corporation sono una band di Washington formata da Rob Garza e Eric Hilton. Inizialmente i due erano DJ, ma, una volta conosciutisi hanno deciso di formare i Thievery Corporation, nel 1996. La loro musica è elettronica ma con contaminazioni etniche e reggae. Il primo album, Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi, contiene parti di tracce altrui riarrangiate e mixate, proprio come due Dj.
