Stéphane Pompougnac è un compositore e producer Francese nato in Sud Africa. Appartiene alla Pschent, etichetta indipendente francese, considerata una delle principali sul panorama della musica lounge del “Grand Chic Parisien”.
E’ verso la fine degli anni ‘80 che Stéphan Pompugnac si avvicina ai ritmi house e chillout, dominando la scena musicale Parigina. Nel 1997 attira l’attenzione di Jean-Louis Costes che gli propone di suonare nel suo Hotel-ristorante. IL connubbio tra l’ Hotel Costes e il producer francese danno vita a una nota compilation arrivata oggi al suo dodicesimo volume. Tra i remix più esclusivi, il  brano di Madonna “What It Feels Like For A Girl” proposto in chiave lounge all’interno della release “Hotel Costes The Best of”
